Hoover Vacuum Cleaners
Just about any cleaning job you have, Hoover has a vacuum for the job. Hoover vacuums come in many different styles and price ranges. They also serve a variety of different purposes.
Hoover vacuums can be broken down into these broad categories: upright, canister, deep cleaners, hard floor cleaners, central vac, specialties, and commercial vacuums. Pretty much any cleaning you need to do, Hoover can do it.
The Hoover vacuum cleaners came into existence when James Spangler invented the first portable and electric vacuum cleaner. He started his own vacuum company, the Electric Suction Vacuum Cleaner Company, which was bought by William Hoover, his cousin by marriage, a few years later.
Hoover vacuums didn’t sell well at first but they soon caught on. Hoover offered a 10 day free trial for homes and hired salespeople to go door-to-door selling the vacuums and giving free demonstrations. Soon nearly every American home owned a Hoover vacuum cleaner.
Today many of the Hoover Vacuum Cleaners boast what they call “Wind Tunnel Technology”. This method of sucking the dirt into the vacuum works very well and, according to Hoover, works better than all their major competitors.
There are many different Hoover models on the market. There is a vacuum to fit any job and any budget. Every model works a little differently and has its own set of advantages and disadvantages.
However, Hoover was America’s leading vacuum company one hundred years ago and they continue to be right near the top today. And it's no surprise why, they are always at the top when it comes to vacuum cleaner reviews and ratings.
